"Christian brothers, I ask you from my heart to give your bodies to God because of His loving-kindness to us. Let your bodies be a living and holy gift given to God. He is pleased with this kind of gift. This is the true worship that you should give Him. Do not act like the sinful people of the world. Let God change your life. First of all, let Him give you a new mind. Then you will know what God wants you to do. And the things you do will be good and pleasing and perfect."

PURPOSE: To assist men to grow spiritually by strengthening their personal relationship with God through:

Worship, Bible Study, Accountability, and Fellowship.
 

The Men’s Ministry was established to help the men of our church in—Mind, Body, and Spirit—to reach their rightful spiritual position through Biblical preaching, teaching, and fellowship. Its vision is to empower our men to become better husbands, fathers, partners, family members, disciples, stewards, and leaders. Through our core values of Accountability, Integrity, and Discipleship the Men of Carter Temple come together for our 3rd Saturdays monthly study, prayer, and workshops featuring various topics. The men minister outside the walls of Carter Temple seasonally to help eradicate poverty and to evangelize. The men also meet routinely for other forms of spiritual sharing and life-skills support. The men organize and coordinate their participation in the activities of other ministries of the church as well as planned men’s workshops, seminars, conferences, Spiritual Advances, the annual Men’s Day worship service, and other recreational and fellowship gatherings.

Men’s Ministry meetings and activities offer safe places where the men of our church can express themselves openly and freely about areas of weakness, pain, and struggle. They also provide a sort of “spiritual collective” where men of all ages can learn how to build a stronger relationship with God.
