Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord! The COVID pandemic hindered our ability to truly celebrate our 100th Church Anniversary in 2021. However, we’re preparing for a grand celebration of God’s faithfulness on Friday, October 11, 2024, during our 103rd Church Anniversary Gala. Our theme, “See What the Lord Has Done”, focuses on the extraordinary ministry and miracles that God has birthed through this congregation. The gala will take place at the Chateau Del Mar (8301 95th Street, Hickory Hills, IL) at 7pm. Our special musical guest is the amazing singer/songwriter, Terisa Griffin.
Over these 100+ years, God has allowed us to positively impact our community and to serve as a ministry model for Black Methodism across the country. Carter Temple has mentored future bishops, pastors, educational and community leaders and more. We’ve also provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and community aid, including Impact Grants to families during the pandemic. As we continue to make a difference in Chatham and beyond, we’d love your support to further our mission.
As we prepare for our 103rd Anniversary in October, here’s how you can support: become a sponsor, purchase a gala ticket/table or an advertisement for our digital ad book.
GALA SPONSORS
Use the form link to reserve a sponsorship for Carter Temple’s 103rd Church Anniversary Gala on Friday, October 11 at 7pm. All sponsors will have their organizations featured in promotional material, as well as verbal acknowledgement during the gala and social media “shout-outs”. Sponsorships should be reserved by September 20.

Sponsorship Levels
Platinum | $7,500: Includes 10 tickets to the gala + the front inside or back cover of the ad book.
Gold | $5,000: Includes 6 tickets to the gala + a full-page ad.
Silver | $2,500: Includes 4 tickets to the gala + a half-page ad.
Bronze | $1,000: Includes 2 tickets to the gala + a half-page ad.
GALA TICKETS
· Individual tickets are $175 per person (all ages). Gala tickets can be purchased via: bit.ly/CTGala24 or by contacting the main office (773) 874-0175 for assistance.
· Deadline: September 20, 2024
· Please note that the link does require name and meal selection for each guest. Churches/Organizations wishing to purchase a table can bypass this requirement by selecting “member” and simply choosing a meal for now and the Reservation Committee will follow up with you.
CHURCH/ORGANIZATION TABLE PURCHASE
Table purchases are $1,750 and include a full-page ad.
